Hi there people! Actually, everything is going quite good, two weeks here, just looking around for find a job. There is a lot of employment but only in service sector,I mean, as a barman or bar tender, waiter, staff whatever, general catering…etc…
Despite not being hired yet, I just been interviewed and I´ve performed three shift trials. I´ve asked about the trial and it is completely legal (Tatcher stamp), you just could work for 4 hours without any kind of contract and the employer sees how you work. After this trial the employer can decide if he contracts you or not.
As a Chemical Engineer, by the moment I am just sending cv everywhere, I am not quite optimistic on that, it seems to be no future as a chemical engineer in this land. Maybe in Birmingham , Manchester, Yorkshire, Leeds, I ´ve heard that Aberdeen (Scotland) have oil there, I could try there, I don´t know yet,. At least I should start learning german…
Best regards !
Kindly, Lomassoti
